چکیده

Abstract A single spin in a Josephson junction can reverse the flow of supercurrent by changing sign superconducting phase difference across it. At mesoscopic length scales, these π-junctions are employed various applications, such as finding pairing symmetry underlying superconductor, well quantum computing. atomic scale, counterpart tunnel is known Yu–Shiba–Rusinov state. Observation reversal that setting has so far remained elusive. Here we demonstrate 0 to π transition through state continuously change impurity–superconductor coupling. We detect critical current exploiting second transport channel reference analogy interference device, which provides our scanning tunnelling microscope with required sensitivity. The measured signature and allows its characterization high resolution.

Coherent Control of Quantum Entropy via Quantum Interference in a Four-Level Atomic System

The time evaluation of quantum entropy in a four-level double- type atomic system is theoretically investigated. Quantum entanglement of the atom and its spontaneous emission fields is then discussed via quantum entropy. It is found that the degree of entanglement can be increased by the quantum interference induced by spontaneous emission. The phase dependence of the atom-field entanglement is...

Superconducting quantum interference device instruments and applications

Superconducting quantum interference devices SQUIDs have been a key factor in the development and commercialization of ultrasensitive electric and magnetic measurement systems. In many cases, SQUID instrumentation offers the ability to make measurements where no other methodology is possible. We review the main aspects of designing, fabricating, and operating a number of SQUID measurement syste...

Cross-validation of microfabricated atomic magnetometers with superconducting quantum interference devices for biomagnetic applications

We compare the performance of a chip-scale atomic magnetometer CSAM with that of a superconducting quantum interference device SQUID sensor in two biomedical applications. Magnetocardiograms MCGs of healthy human subjects were measured simultaneously by a CSAM and a multichannel SQUID sensor in a magnetically shielded room. The typical features of MCGs are resolved by the CSAM, matching the SQU...

Quantum Left-handed metamaterial with superconducting quantum interference devices

A scheme of left-handed metamaterial (LHM) composed of superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) and conducting wires is proposed. The permeability of a probe field can be smoothly tuned over a wide range with another electromagnetic (coupling) field due to quantum interference effect. Similar to electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) of atomic systems, the absorption of the...
